The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the blue background is slightly lighter in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The masonite is very slightly bowed. There are a number of tiny pinprick-sized isolated nicks to places along the lower extreme edge. There are light rub marks to the top right and lower left corners, and a further small rub mark to the left side of the lower edge. There are several tiny pinprick-sized media losses to the upper extreme edge. A tiny diagonal crack to the top left corner is visible upon close examination. Under ultraviolet light the heads of nails distributed at intervals along the extreme edges fluoresce - these have been painted over by the artist and are original to the work's execution.
