The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The two boxes are mounted together in a single wooden box frame.
(i) In very good condition. The glass cover is slightly uneven at all four corners. There is a very small indentation and tiny surface crack to the glass at the centre of the left extreme edge, visible in the catalogue illustration. Glue residue is visible around all four edges between the glass and the box.
(ii) In very good condition. There are scattered spots of discolouration and a number of pale foxmarks to the graph paper sheet, visible in the catalogue illustration. Tiny pinprick-sized specks of dirt and fly spots are visible adhering to the interior glass lid, to the lower edge and throughout the box and paper, original to the work's execution and visible in the catalogue illustration. There is glue residue visible around the edges between the box and the glass cover.
