Condition
Colours:
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant with the paper tone tending more towards sandy beige in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition and is securely hinged to the backing mount in all four corners. There is some minor undulation throughout the work, particularly to the top and bottom extreme edges. Upon close inspection there is a tiny nick to the right centre of the bottom extreme edge.
There is a small pale triangular-shaped media accretion to the left of the signature. A tiny foxmark is visible to the upper right section, adjacent to the right edge. There are two small and light parallel diagonal crease lines in the lower right quadrant and a further small horizontal crease above the centre of the right extreme edge visible only upon close inspection. There are a few scattered isolated fly spots around the central image and to the lower horizontal margin. Two very small spots of minor paper skinning are visible upon close inspection to the lower right quadrant.
