Colours:
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the beautiful three-dimensionality of the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. The lower left and right extreme corner tips are very slightly rubbed and there is a further minor rub mark to the upper centre of the right extreme edge. A very small white media accretion is visible beneath the centre of the upper extreme edge. There is no restoration apparent under ultraviolet light.
