Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. The lower right corner is slightly uneven. There is a very small rub mark to the inside of the right edge, halfway between the bottom and mid-point of the work. A tiny loss is visible upon close inspection just above on the right extreme edge. There are three minor rub marks with tiny nicks to the paint surface at intervals to the top half of the right extreme edge. There are scattered pinhead-sized specks of black pigment to the lower half of the work, and scattered cream pigment specks to the upper half of the work, original to the work's execution. There is a vertical line of discolouration to the lower part of the left extreme edge. Some very light surface dirt to the wire mesh and elsewhere. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
