Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is very slightly lighter in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. There is a tiny spot of media loss to the bottom of the right extreme edge, just above the corner, visible in the catalogue illustration and likely to be original to the work's execution. A few extremely fine drying cracks are visible upon close examination to the black horizontal bands of paint to the left and right edges. There are a few fine and unobtrusive stable hairline cracks to the lower left quadrant and to the bottom of the upper right quadrant. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
