Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is darker with more pronounced black and less pronounced silver hues in the original.
Conditon:
This work is in very good condition. There are a few tiny rub marks at intervals to the long curve of steel and a few further tiny rub marks to the edges of the coiled steel, some of which are visible in the catalogue illustration. There are tiny specks of oxidisation to the square ends of the top and lower long pieces of steel. There are a few tiny surface irregularities caused by the casting process and original to the work's execution. Some extremely fine surface scratches are visible upon close inspection in raking light to parts of the steel.
