The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. There is undulation to the top left, bottom left and bottom right corners. There are artist's pinholes to the top left, right and centre of the extreme top edge. There are three minor media accretions towards the centre left of the composition. There is some light wear with associated minor paper loss towards the centre right of the extreme bottom edge; to the left extreme edge; and to the bottom left hand corner. A very light vertical rub mark is visible on close inspection running along the extreme right edge, adjacent to the bottom right hand corner and to the bottom left hand corner edge.
