Condition
Colours:
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the rich texture created by the paper collage elements throughout.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. The extreme edges are slightly worn notably to the left and right extreme edges. The paper is creasing inwards slightly to the top and bottom of the right extreme edge. Each of the four corners is rubbed; the upper right, lower right and upper left extreme tips are missing. The thinner fragile deckled edges to the left and right extreme edges have worn away in places, possibly due to light frame abrasion. There are a number of scattered pinprick-sized holes throughout the composition.
