Condition
Colours:
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
There is extremely slight canvas draw to each corner and two light rub marks to the top left and right extreme edges. An isolated minute stable surface crack is visible on close inspection approximately 4 cm in from the lower centre of the right extreme edge. There are a very small number of isolated pinprick-sized fly spots to the grey pigment across the upper horizontal section of the composition. There are fine, unobtrusive horizontal tension cracks to the extreme top overturn edge, to the upper half of the right extreme edge and to the centre of the left extreme edge. No restoration is visible under ultraviolet light.
