Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. The reds on the right of the archway tends more towards rich crimson and the colours of the pole supports are more varied, with reds, purples and oranges clearly distinguishable in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to capture the metallic shiny quality of the orange fabric collage in the lower right quadrant. Condition: The work is in very good condition. There is some light undulation to the sheet and some faint undulation to the orange fabric collage in the lower right quadrant which are original to the work's execution. There is some light adhesive residue, possibly from where tape was previously applied, to the upper right and lower left corners of the plexiglass. There are two light rub marks to the plexiglass exterior in the centre of the upper edge. Light handling marks and very minor surface scratches are visible in raking light to places on the plexiglass.
