Colours:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly richer and deeper in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. There is wear to all edges and base of the both pyramids. Each pyramid has scattered rub marks and associated abrasions throughout, scattered chips and nicks to the edges, spots of paint loss, and handling marks. The rub marks are notable along the base of the pyramids. There is a light media splash to the reverse of (ii) and scattered vertical drip marks and small media accretions to each facet. Fibres of surface dust are adhering to the surface in places, and there is light surface to the faces of the works. Each apex is chipped (visible in the catalogue illustration).
