Condition

Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the gold patina tends more towards rich rose gold with less yellow in the original. Condition: The work is in very good condition. There is a tiny nick to the bronze surface to the top edge of the left hand tube and a few further tiny nicks to the tubes elsewhere, some resulting from the casting process and original to the work's execution. There are a number of extremely light and unobtrusive spots of discolouration in places to the tubes. Scattered light handling marks are visible, the majority of which could be removed with a light polish. There are several rub marks and light wear near the edges of the rods on the base.
