The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
The work is in very good condition. There are a few scattered rub marks to the work, predominantly to the edges and to the flat planes of patina. The edges around the recesses are slightly oxidised and there are minor spots of tarnishing to the metal, some of which are visible in the catalogue illustration to the legs of the sculpture and to the left edge at the centre. There is a vertical crack with some light corrosion to the top of the reverse of the right side ( 1½ in approx). There is light surface dust and dirt in the recesses and handling marks, the majority of which could be removed with a light surface polish. There are small abrasions to the right and left upper corners of the base.
