There is a myth handed down from ancient China about the origin of Universe, it goes as follow:
It was said that in time immemorial heaven and earth were not separated, and all of universe was in chaos. Pau Gu was born in this void. As Pan Gu grew-"Energy"-heaven and earth were pushed apart- "Space". Each day he grew by length of one Zhang. After eighteen thousand years-"Time"- heaven became incredibly high, earth immeasurably deep and Pan Gu unimaginably tall. That was how the world-"Matter"-began.
The myth of Pan Gu is a romantic tale encapsulation the idea that Space, Time, Matter and Energy (Phenomenon) is constituted through the Experience of the Body. Bodily Experience constructs the Existence as well as Meaning of the World. Art, like all other phenomena, is always related to bodily experience. It is more about a continuous process to be experienced than an object to be created.
