Description

painted in underglaze-blue to one side with a blossoming double-peach sprig and to the other with a fruiting lychee branch, each enclosed within a quatrelobed cartouche, flanked by peony and chrysanthemum sprays, beneath a lotus scroll encircling the shoulder and upright plantain leaves at the neck, the spout with knopped scroll, the handle with lingzhi sprays, the foot encircled by a classic scroll band below upright lappets, all against a yellow ground, the six-character seal mark inscribed to the base in underglaze-blue
