- A Ladik prayer rug
- approximately 5ft. 5in. by 3ft. 6in. (1.65 by 1.07m.)
Condition
Unusually good, closely sheared 1/8 of an inch pile with scattered areas of foldwear and wear in red field low to knot heads and spot foundation. Some dark browns oxidized to knot heads. Few minor scattered repiled spots. Partial original selvages with some later overcasting. Lower end with 1/4 of an inch kilim end finish - now secured with binding stitch. Upper end missing 2-3 rows of knots into guard border. Supple handle, good overall conditinon.
