Condition
Color in catalogue generally accurate with original being very slightly more saturated. Pile ranges from 1/10in. to low to knot heads in few scattered areas of wear in field. Scattered vertical foldwear and small foldwear slits, with the largest being 2in. in size, due to uneven tension in warps - can be stabilized and reinforced. 4in. by 2in. reweave in lower section of field. Scattered spot stains. Sides with later overcasting, ends secured with binding stitch. Slightly abrashed field, lower quarter of field abrashed lighter as visible in catalogue. Will enhance with minor restoration and some cleaning, flexible handle, attractive overall design.
