  • approximately 15ft. 2in. by 10ft. 11in. (4.62 by 3.33m.)

Condition

Lighter, warmer color in reality with more distinguished light green. Near original dense 1/8in. pile with scattered areas of foldwear and wear low to knot heads. Most visible foldwear and wear left side and lower end of medallion and lower border. Few areas of depressed pile from furniture marks - will enhance with cleaning. Upper acorn of medallion with dime size area of moth damage. Scattered spot stains. Some overtinted rosy red as it was customary in the 1920s. Losses to outer guard stripe, remnants of cabled end finishes - recommend securing. Remanants of original purple silk selvages - recommend securing. Robust weave, highly lustrous wool, will enhance with cleaning and careful restoration.
