Condition
Colours not as strongly contrasting or as 'hot' as illustration suggests: much better looking in person. Sides re-overcast, ends secured; pile even, closely sheared, dense and good condition overall, approx. 1/10th inch and good, dense, robust weave with flexible handle. Well-drawn motifs on a grand scale, graceful border, with unusually wide minor borders. Overall a very good looking and elegant carpet in exceptional condition for its age.
