Colour is slightly less yellow than appears in illustration, with fresher blues; pile generally good overall , closely sheared, approx. 1/8th inch with some areas low to knotbars in upper centre of field; area of tension wear in centre left of field with rejoined splits, some partially reopened, other small splits in surround at lower end; colour run in areas of border principally, now with some surface re-dying; scattered spot staining showing as slightly lighter areas, not distracting. A handsome carpet, would suggest stabilising splits and carpet then ready to use.
