Condition

Color is lighter and warmer in reality; the field is a softer cantelope melon shade. Pile is generally good with lustrous 1/6 inch overall, scattered areas of foldwear low to knotheads and foundation, several vertical foldwear spots revealing warps. A few repaired foldwear slits along sides. Sides reselvaged, thus secured. Ends with later tied on fringes, stabilized with binding stitch sewn to cloth tape on reverse. Very supple handle, highly lustrous Angora-like wool. Good overall condition.
