circa 1790, head and shoulders, with powdered hair en queue, wearing a blue coat with brass buttons and a white cravat, cloud and sky background
Condition
There is occassional minor foxing, particularly at the top right portion of the image. The ivory remains intact. By and large the medium remains good - there is an area of paint loss over the sitter's right eye.
