Condition

The canvas has been relined. Scattered craquelure throughout and a discoloured varnish. Also some spots of paint loss to the white paint, lower centre. Ultraviolet light reveals some scattered spots of retouching, although an opaque varnish prevents conclusive examination. Held in a gold composite frame in worn condition.
