Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is a large undulation to the canvas in the lower centre, resulting in a patch of paint flaking. Some scattered paint seperation elsewhere and a further small patch of paint loss to the lower left. Surface dirt and a discoloured varnish. Ultraviolet light reveals scattered spots of retouching to the foreground and trees and a couple of spots to the upper right sky. Held in a simple gold frame.
