Condition

The canvas has been relined. There is extensive craquelure throughout and some circular craquelure towards the upper edge. As a result there are some specs of paint loss towards the right of the lower edge. Ultra violet light reveals a vertical line of retouching to the left of the window and some infilling to the upper left quarter. Held in a decorative gold painted frame.
