Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is scattered craquelure, particulraly to the paint in the sky area and notably to an area in the upper centre of the sky where there has been some resultant chipping to the paint. Also a moderate area of paint seperation to the trees. Ultraviolet light reveals a line of retouching along the upper and lower edges. No visible retouching elsewhere. Held in a decorative gold composite frame.
