Condition

Paul Sandby; the sheet is sound. Some fading to the colours and scatteered flecks of surface dirt. Stuck down on to the mount in a simple painted wooden frame; under glass and unexamined out of frame. John Varley; The sheet is sound although although has discoloured throughout. There are some spots of foxing. Held in a decorative plaster gilt frame wioth losses to the mouldings; under glass and unexamined out of frame.
