Condition

The canvas is original. There is some light craquelure to the lower edge and a few tiny scattered specs of staining to the sky. Otherwise in good overall condition. Ultra violet light reveals scattered spots of retouching to the lower edge and a patch to the centre of the sky. Held in a heavy decorative gold painted frame.
