Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is scattered craquelure throughout, which has been stabilised by the relining. Also a discoloured varnish throughout. Ultraviolet light reveals retouching across the upper border of the painting, plus some small scattered spots throughout. Held in a decorative plaster gilt frame.
