Condition
Th board behind the canvas is undulating (raised in the central area) and the stretcher marks are clearly visible. Scattered craquelure and surface dirt. Ultraviolet light reveals a large patch of retouching to the boy's coat and a line of retouching to his face. Held in a lightly decorated gold composite frame.
