- Portrait of a gentleman
- oil on canvas
- 90x70cm.; 35½x27½in.

Condition
The canvas has been lined.
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a triangular damage to the upper right hand quadrant of the canvas with associated repaint. This damage runs through the corner of the sitter's hair. A thick varnish prevents an analysis of the remainder of the painting. There are some touches of repaint to the sitter's left hand.
Held in a moulded gilt wood frame.
