F*** Cruikshank, 19th Century

The canvas is original. There is a large, poorly repaired tear to the central section with resulting craquelure. There is a further repaired tear towards the left edge, both of which correspond to patches on the reverse. There is minor paint loss towards the lower edge. The canvas is undulated in places and would benefit from being restratched. There is minor craquelure to the upper edge and elswhere. Held in a decorative gold painted frame in fair condition.
