Condition

Original canvas. Frame abrasions are visible along the edges, including some splitting to the extreme edge of the canvas on the right edge. There is a small patch of chipping to the paint on the centre right. Scattered craquelure and a discoloured varnish. Ultraviolet light reveals no visible retouching under the varnish. Held in a decorative plaster frame.
