Sale: Christie's, 21st November 1969, Lot 17, sold for £115 and 10 shillings
Condition
The canvas is original. There is a stretcher mark to the upper edge and a small mark of scuffing to the centre of the lower edge. There is surface dirt throughout. Ultra violet light reveals that the signature has been masked by a varnish preventing further conclusive examination and there are no signs of retouching. Held in a brown and gold painted frame.
