Condition
The canvas has not been relined but is fixed to a backboard. There is a patch of old flecks of paint loss, upper cntre right, which have since been retouched. Surface dirt visible but otherwise in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals spots of retouching to the aforementionned flecks of paint, a line of retouching along the upper edge, scattered spots to the sky and some further scattered retouchingt to the clothing of the choirboys and surrounding area. Held in an ornate gold composite frame.
