Le katana torii-zori, shobu zukuri, hamon komidare de nie avec sunanagashi, midare utsuri, itame hada, ubu nakago avec un mekugiana, signé Norihito, 59,1 cm, 23 1/4  in.; le tanto hira zukuri, hamon gunome midare de nioi, masame hada, ubu nakago avec un mekugiana, 24,6 cm, 10 1/4  in.signé Koretsugu; daisho koshirae en laque roiro ichimeji a décor de serpents en or et argent takamakie, montures en cuivre, kozuka à décor de serpents et nuages en argent takazogan et honzogan, menuki de sanglier et serpent

Condition

The katana: the blade in good polish, a little tired with grain opening on each side, more pronouced on the side illustrated in the catalogue (please use the zoom feature on our website at www.sothebys.com/browe catalogue for a close-up view of the surface texture of the blade). The tanto: also in good polish, some remains/traces of old rust on approximately 2.5 cm toward the tip and scattered along the edge of the mune. The blade overall in good polish and presentation state. Both mounts in good conditions.
