sur un petit pied, l'intérieur émaillé turquoise, la bordure dorée, à décor sur l'extérieur de glycines et d'un ménate perché sur une branche fleurie de pivoines, couleur brun-sépia dans un fond turquoise, le nom du studio en rouge, lisant Daya zhai "Studio de la grande Distinction" et un sceau ovale sur un côté, à décor de deux dragons entourant une marque à cinq caractères de style archaïque lisant tian di yi jia chun (Le monde entier célébré comme la Famille), une marque en kaishu à quatre caractères émaillée rouge dans un double carré à la base lisant yongqing chagchun (prospérité éternelle et printemps persistant)

Good condition. The turquoise ground is one degree clearer than the illustration would suggest.

Catalogue Note
Daya est le titre du tome III du Shijing (le livre des odes) et le nom donné à l'un des pavillons du Palais de Changchun à Pékin, qui était l'une des résidence de l'Impératrice douairière Cixi (1835-1908). Elle l'adopta comme nom d'atelier et les porcelaines sont connues sous le nom de porcelaines Daya Zhai.
