Condition

Both in fine presentation state, the iron bearing a rich dark brown patina. The first vase (showing to the right on the illustration in the catalogue) with the upper right projecting twig possibly repaired, two flakes and some pitting to the surface on the reverse, otherwise good. The other with four scattered holes repaired with an old filling to the base, the largest 2 x2cm (showing on the illustration in the catalogue) but also good overall.
