- Height. 39 3/8 in, each approx.
chacun de forme rectangulaire verticale, encadré avec une chauve-souris sur chaque côté, inscriptions sur chaque inspirés de la préface de Liang Du Fu (Préface de Fu sur les deux capitales Chang'an et Luoyang) de Ban gu (32-92), écrivain des Hans orientaux (25-220 ap. JC)
Condition
The four panels are all framed the same way and identically decorated : dark brown lacquered wood with a classical Chinese metal hanger and caracters in the middle of pannel.
The frame: sculpted margins with classical chinese decoration.
Note that there are some gold losses paint on the decoration; on each, some small vertical cracks, small lacquer losses
On one pannel: part of a caracter is missing on the top right (on the catalogue illustration, panel on the lower left).
On the verso: humidity stains on each, seems to have never been opened.
Otherwise, overall in good condition.
