350 leaves, 11 lines per page written in strong muhaqqaq script in black ink on cream paper, verses marked with gold florets, sura headings in gold thuluth within blue-ruled panels decorated with pink cross-hatching, illuminated marginal devices marking tenth verse, juz and hizb divisions, opening illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, modern brown morocco binding with gilt and blind-stamped motifs
