Description
the yellowish glass of cylindrical form with flat base and a short shoulder rising to a long neck, with six applied handles with suspension loops, further suspension loops around the shoulder, the handles and body decorated with applied vertical trails

The David Collection has a tenth- to eleventh-century hanging lamp with similar applied trails, see von Folsach 2001, p.215, no.328. There is a further example published in Riyadh 1985, no.193, pp.160-161.
