- 'Brocard 23 rue Bertrand Paris' in red enamel
- 26.2cm., 10 3/8 in.
signed, of turquoise tint, the flared bowl painted overall with opaque-white tracery within gilt borders, over a broad collar, set on a flattened knop and high conical foot with flared rim painted with bands of gilding and scroll outlined in red, gilt-edged rims
Catalogue Note
An almost identical example, dated 1877, is illustrated by C.Cerutti and A.Dorigato, Il Vetro, p.123. The Brocard workshop moved to the rue Bertrand in 1884.
