both of rounded form, the first shallow dish painted in underglaze blue, veridian green, relief red, turquoise and outlined in black, with a central design of cloudband split-palmettes on a red ground, bordered by an arcade of palmettes, the rim with breaking wave motif, the smaller dish with a broad rim painted in underglaze cobalt blue, turquoise, veridian green and relief red and outlined in black with a central rosette medallion, the rim with a band of cloudband split-palmettes on a turquoise ground, the reverse with alternating spirals and trefoils
