of truncated conical form with flaring walls stepped down to a straight vertical foot, decorated in underglaze and overglaze colours, cobalt blue, red and turquoise outlined in black with a central roundel with paired and interlacing split-palmettes about a central rosette, the walls decorated ensuite with alternating split-palmette and knot-form arabesques, the exterior with an inscription band in naskh with Persian verses
