Description

of rectangular form raised upon a lip, a central octagonal recess with incised and inlaid decoration of a medallion of interlacing strapwork flanked by a pair of bands of kufic on a scrolling ground, the rim with bands of cursive calligraphy interspersed with roundels composed of rosettes and scrolling split-palmette spandrels
