the flatwoven ground with a silver coloured metal-thread brocaded medallion, the decoration in silk pile
Condition
Some loose threads and minor losses at each end; sides reinforced on reverse with vinyl tape; several areas of wear in flatwoven ground, mainly in upper third of field and scattered elsewhere, with loose warps; silk pile generally fair, with dark taupe oxidised to knot heads and partially to foundation; unusually large size, would benefit from stabilising
