Description

  • 'Brocard et fils 1876' in red on the edge of the foot
  • 38.5cm., 15 1/8 in.
signed, each compressed globular form of emerald-green tint with wide flared neck, the sides applied with six suspension loops, painted and gilt with broad bands of Kufic inscriptions between bands of scroll and stylised foliate decoration, the everted double-walled foot with gilt band, the base painted with a central rosette within gilt scrolling foliage, all outlined in red

Overall in good condition with minor typical wear to gilding.
