  • 'Escalier de Cristal / Paris' in gilding on the foot
  • 25cm., 9¾in.
the flattened ovoid form cut on each side with an ovoid medallion engraved and painted with stylised foliage within geometric foliate scroll, stylised flowers, leaves and trellis, all heightened in gilding on a textured surface, the slender waisted neck with everted rim, s-shaped spout and high loop handle, over a domed oval foot

Condition

Handle has been broken off and restuck. Long crack from bottom of handle to footrim, approximately 3 inches length. Some wear. Colours not as bright as catalogue photograph.
