Description

  • 'Brocard Paris Juin 1877' in red under the foot
  • 26.8cm., 10½in.
signed, each compressed globular form with wide flared neck, the sides of one applied with three suspension loops, the other with six loops, painted and gilt with broad bands of Kufic inscriptions between bands of scroll and stylised foliate decoration, the everted double-walled foot with gilt band, the base painted and gilt with a central rosette within scrolling foliage, all outlined in red

Condition

Chip to the end of one handle. Otherwise in good condition with minor wear to gilding.
